About World of Learning »
World of Learning (WOL) is an educational non-profit organization, committed to provide the highest quality after-school programs and tutoring. Our main purposes are to equip young minds, build strong character , and nurture creativity through the higher quality and diversity of education programs. WOL's diversity of education programs includes courses in academics such as reading, writing and math tutoring, digital art courses involving design and video, music courses for piano, character development and life skills courses, and leadership training --- all in the context of an after-school program, further enhancing student achievement that the schools have cultivated. We believe that the higher quality education choices should be available for all students, regardless of their gender, race, socio-economic background, or religious beliefs. WOL's diverse courses can provide children and youth from all types of backgrounds with a well-rounded after-school program. A scholarship fund is set aside to provide children who are not able to afford tuition fees with opportunity to participate in the programs. Our aim is to provide intellectual, creative, and character development programs that would help a young person not only excel in different areas of their lives, but also be a conscientious citizen that gives back to their community.
